Robert Cecco Obituary

ELYSBURG — Robert F. Cecco, 73, of Elysburg, passed away suddenly Tuesday, Dec. 29, 2015.

He served in the U.S. Army.

He was employed by Branch Motors Express and retired from Durdach Bros. Inc.

He enjoyed his family, hanging out with his buddies at McDonalds, hunting, motorcycling, traveling as a snowbird to Florida where he had many friends in his park, pulling tractors, helping others out and tinkering jobs with his tools.

He is survived by his brother, Joseph (Fern) Cecco; his wife, Debra (Campbell); a son, Edward (Fran), and their children, James and Cara; a daughter, Melissa (Derek) Carl and their children, Bailey and Lauren; his stepchildren, Michelle (Bobby) Schwartz, and their children, Leah and Danica, and Lindsey Adams.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Tulio and Lillian (Bridy) Cecco; and his brother, Richard.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

My deepest condolences to the Cecco family. I worked for Bob at Durdach Bros Inc. He was a great man that will be dearly missed.

My deepest condolences to all the family. I'll always have fond memories of our conversations at Mcdonalds, but most of all the racing years and the trips to the NHRA nationals in Indy. May you be at peace. Till we meet again, A friend forever, Jerry Strausser.
