SHAMOKIN - Thomas J. Yost, 77, of 46 N. Seventh St., passed away Wednesday, Feb. 24, 2021, in his home surrounded by his loving family.
He was born in Shamokin, March 1, 1943, he was a son of the late Rudolf and Catherin (McCracken) Yost.
On May 28, 1983, Thomas married Virginia Domanski, who survives.
He worked at Clark's Poultry Heinz, in Bloomsburg.
Thomas was a life member of the Fairview Gun Club.
He attended Restoration Ministries regularly.
In addition to his wife, Thomas is survived by five children, Thomas Yost and his wife, Christine, of Georgia, Joseph Yost, of New Jersey, Michael Yost, of New Jersey, Krystal Seger, of Shamokin, and Korey Yost and his wife, Beth, of Germantown; three grandsons, Jason Yost, Matthew Yost and Kevin Yost; a brother, James "Jimmy" Yost and his wife, Pat, of Virginia; two sisters, Catherine Marufka and her husband, Edward, of Northampton, and Mary Guzy and her husband, Joseph, of Allentown; four sisters-in-law, Pat Yost; Barbara Yost, Catherine "Cookie" Persing and her husband, George, and Colette Drumheller; two brothers-in-law, Anthony Domanski and his wife, Debra, and John Domanski and his wife, Sandra; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In addition to his parents, Thomas was preceded in death by his father and mother-in-law, Anthony and Virginia (Gratti) Domanski; a granddaughter, Emery Rose McCormick; two brothers, John Yost, and Edward Yost; a sister, Virginia Maur and her husband, Rudolph; and two brothers-in-law, Gilbert Domanski and his wife, Laura, and Michael Domanski.
