Danny and I were stationed at the 45th Surgical Hospital in Tay Ninh, Vietnam. Danny was a cook, and I would get off guard duty at midnight, Danny would make us Egg Omelets, after a long work day that was our comfort food. I was stationed there Aug. 1968 to Aug. 1969, Danny is two years older than I am, born in 1946. He came to El Paso Texas to visit me, after 50 plus years we saw each other again. We talked about him getting well So we could visit Rosa's Cantina in El Paso Texas, just one more visit that will not happen. But I will see him again in Heaven.
He was a Superior Soldier, and a great person to know.
