John was always smiling, always giving and kind, and had a wonderful sense of humor. He always had a story to tell and a fresh joke for everyone. He is well, now, and we rejoice he is with the Lord, whom he loved. We will miss John, however, and grieve his loss greatly. May the Lord bless and comfort his family.

I worked with John (and he always corrected me when I called him Mr Ray) at Gypsy Hill House. He always had a smile,a joke, and compliments. He often talked with affection about all of his sisters. As he had struggled with his health recently and knowing he was a man of faith, I am sure he is in a better place. All my sympathies to his family.
