Kenneth Wiseman Obituary
Staunton - Kenneth Lynwood Wiseman, 85, of Staunton, husband of Phyllis D. Wiseman, passed away Friday, March 30, 2018, in Augusta Health.
He was born October 22, 1932 in Augusta County, a son of the late James Wallace and Hallie Callison Wiseman.
He was retired from Swift Packing Company after 35 years of service, was an active member of Marquis Memorial United Methodist Church, and loved spending time at his hunting camp in Highland County with his hunting buddies.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Jean and Mike Doyle; sister, Madeline Tankard of Fairfax, VA; grandchildren, Derek Doyle and his wife, Julia and Audra Doyle; and a special great granddaughter, Lauren Doyle.
He was preceded in death by a son, James Wesley Wiseman and a brother-in-law, George Tankard.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, April 3, 2018 in Marquis Memorial United Methodist Church with the Rev. Robert W. Sharp officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the church.
Burial will follow in Mt. Tabor Cemetery.
