Carson Corrigan Obituary

Carson Loran Corrigan passed away peacefully on Oct. 7, 2025, in Wasilla, Alaska. He was born in Havre, Montana, on Sept. 11, 1934.
He leaves behind his loving wife of 71 years, Evon Marie Corrigan; sister, Sheri Miller; his five surviving children, Colleen Banks, Roger Corrigan (Lois), Carla Caudy (Mike), Kelly Hanson (Ted), Carson K. Corrigan (Missy); and daughter-in-law, Tiffany Corrigan. He also had fourteen grandchildren, Matt Dwyer, Danielle Adolf, Courtney Amundson, Dustin Huebner, Taylor Behner, Jake Caudy, Michelle Halbert, Jeremy Corrigan, Sarah Hanson, and Teddy Hanson; 24 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Darlene Hilsen; his son, Danny Corrigan; his grandchildren, Jennifer Hanson, Christina Corrigan, Kendra Banks, and Christopher Banks.
He spent his early years in Montana working as a truck driver, raising his family along with Evon. In 1974 Carson and Evon moved the family to Alaska for new opportunities. He worked for a variety of companies hauling countless loads to Prudoe Bay. In 1984 he started his own business Corrigan and Son's Inc. delivering fuel. He was the head of the business for 10 years and then passed it on to his three sons. This began his "retirement." Carson and Evon traveled around the Lower 48 in their RV for several years before settling in Havre, Montana. In Havre he came out of retirement and began semi-retirement trucking again. It was at this point he reconnected with Bill Baltrusch and was a driver until his final retirement at age 80. Carson's work ethic and dedication was valued everywhere, especially by his children.
Carson's life was more than just work. He was always involved in the youth sports and activities of his six children. From coaching baseball and soccer to being president of Fairbanks Youth Hockey Association. It was always about the kids in the community and their enjoyment.
Carson was a passionate fan of Gonzaga Men's basketball. He never missed a game and attended the annual Las Vegas conference tournament every year. Some of the other activities he enjoyed were golfing, spending time with friends and family, and he took pride in his upkeep of his home and yard.
Carson lived a full life that was admired by all. He will truly be missed.
The family is planning a celebration of life in the summer of 2026.

Sorry to hear of your loss. I really never Carson but knew his dad and sister. My dad and Bud were best of friends and Sheri and I were raised nearly in the Bear paws. I have heard a lot of nice things so our prayers to all the family. Larry and Carol Campbell

I only meet Mr. Corrigan a couple of times but he was always friendly. Knew his son Danny better. May the good Lord bless their souls and your family.

I am so sorry to hear of loss of Carson. I recall the times we shared working at the airport, along with Danny, Roger and Kevin. May the love of friends and family carry you through your grief.
