I did not know of her but the name, Maryline Blackburn reminds me that a woman of that name won Miss Alaska and won an award for non-finalist talent at Miss America. One can still see Maryline perform "I am what I am" online. She nailed it!

Gwen was a shining light and fierce friend in school. Her smile lit the halls and rooms, and her laughter and joy were contagious. I am so sorry for your loss.

I recently had the honor of meeting Gwen. We were able to have to great conversations about the Lord, her love for birds and photography. I truly enjoyed our conversations.

I am heartbroken. I met Gwen as a fellow Creamer´s Field fan. She was an information for me due to her faith in God. I will miss seeing her at Creamer´s Field and will think of her every time I walk the paths there. My sincere condolences and prayers
to her family
