Jeanette Peterson, 51, of Fairbanks, passed away on April 25, 2015, in her home in Conroe, Texas. Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday, May 30, at First Baptist Church, located at 805 Sixth Ave., in Fairbanks. Visitation will be held at same church directly following the service.
Jeanette was born in Fairbanks on Sept. 11, 1964. She was a lifelong Alaskan until she moved to Conroe, Texas, in 2009 to be close to her daughter, Carrie Peterson, and for the warmer temperatures for health reasons. Jeanette will truly be missed but never forgotten by those who have loved her and always will have a special place in all our hearts. Jeanette was preceded in death by her two children, son Stephen Peterson, daughter Chelsea Murphy, and her father, Adolph Peterson.
Jeanette is survived by her mother, Melba J. Peterson; daughter Carrie Peterson, and granddaughter Hayzelle Kirkwood; her sisters, Lorraine Peterson and Kristine Peterson; her brothers, Brian Peterson and his wife, Nancy; Eric Peterson and his wife, Cathy; her nephews and nieces, Kristy Hammonds, Keith Palmieri and his wife, Cassandra; Anthony Welch and his fiancée, Brandi; Robert and Michael Welch, John Born, Kristine Maillard, Angela Penatac, Candice, Crystal, Cody, Caitlyn, Cameron, Craig, and Ceven Peterson, Stephanie, and Lenny Peterson; cousins Troy Tittle and his wife, Verna; and Teresa Tittle; and great-nephews and nieces Jaylon and Ryan Hammonds, Jordan, Isaiah, and Brayden Palmieri, Brittany and Brian Rocheleau, Ramir Penatac, and Jasmine Attla.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to Alaska USA FCU under Kristy Hammonds. The family of Jeanette Peterson wishes to thank all that have prayed for us and gave us strength to get through her passing.
She is now smiling down at us from heaven ... her pain is no more.
