Larry is bigger than life because he left a part of himself behind in all those he loved most. Having come to know Larry as an in-law, we are grateful for his loving influence upon our family. His compassion, strength, understanding, and his love of life continues in the souls of his wife, his children, and his grandchildren. May Larry’s love of the Lord prevail peace to those who miss him, and particularly to his family who Larry loved more than life itself. Deep peace.

He was absolutely one of the good ones! I first knew him as a friend of Jasons. He was kind enough to give me a lift home from high school. (Maybe even threw in some donuts in the parking lot for good measure once in awhile.) He was warm, kind, generous and full of good humor. Our fathers also worked construction together. One summer while I was working construction in my 20s we worked at the same pit together. We shared lunch together sometimes, pranks, laughs. He was just a solid, good man. Whenever I was at their house I could see how much he adored his wife and loved his family. I know he will be so deeply missed by you all and that void will be impossible to fill. Grace to you all.

During the winter it would be a rare Sunday that i didn't find Larry with his own shovel cleaning off the sidewalks to the church. Then on Mondays working with him at the Food Bank Distribution, I always enjoyed when he would place the cart where he thought the next order would be taken. I know he will be missed. Pam and I send our deepest condolences and prayers to janice and the family at this sad time

We were devastated to hear about Larrys passing. We were fortunate to know Larry and Jan from Fairbanks Lutheran Church, and also to share/swap mining stories with them. Our prayers are with Jan and the rest of Larrys family and friends at this very sad time. May Gods love and grace comfort you all.

I worked with Larry many years at Earthmovers in the summer on rock crushing and in the winter snow removal. There is no one that I respect more than Larry as a boss, as an operator, as a friend and as a person. He was one of the great ones who loved his family and anyone who was lucky enough to know him had a great example on how to live life and put their priorities in order. My deepest condolences to the to the family.

Larry was a master at creating wonderful memories by his sincere interest in others, his wit, and his penchant for fun. Our pray is you will feel the joy he gave you always as you celebrate a life well lived.
