Lilly and her family were our neighbors. We never got to know her very well. One summer she shared blueberries with us. She was very devoted to her family between work and home she helped raise her Grandchildren, we often saw her standing outside waiting for the school bus, with her Grandchildren. Then when school got out she waited outside for the school bus to bring them back. She was devoted to her family and she made a good neighbor and friend. We will miss her. We will pray for Lily's family for comfort and peace as they go on living life without her.

My deepest condolences to the family. Lily was a hard working, kind, and loving person who will be truly missed. She was always so supportive of me as a Principal and as a friend, as our boys Shaun and Chris were childhood friends. I always enjoyed running into her and catching up! She was always busy and so proud of her grandchildren. I am sorry I wasn't able to attend the funeral as I had thought it was going to be on the 6th, but my thoughts and prayers are with her and her family. Heaven has gained another angel.

I met Lily and her boys many years ago. I'm so sorry to hear of her passing. I ate some of her native foods like dried fish dipped in seal oil and her Eskimo ice cream which was blue berries and Crisco. The Crisco was a substitute for seal or walrus fat because none was available at the time. Anyway, it was better than it sounds. I also met her brother Hiram. We were going to boat around St Lawrence Island but unfortunately, he passed away before we could go on the adventure. He was a tall and handsome man. My heart goes out to her boys, which are probably grown men by now. I will always miss you Lily, Gary.

We are so sorry to hear about Lily's passing. She was a warm, generous person that helped us so many times and in so many ways when we were younger and starting out in Fairbanks. She always had a smile and whatever food or help she could provide. She was a hard worker and willing to do anything for her children and family. We are better for having known her and the wonderful memories that she leaves us.
