I'm sorry, I had not heard about Marc's passing until very recently. Marc and I were childhood friends on Eielson until my father retired from the Air Force in 1975.
I have never minded sharing with others that I am profoundly autistic, but unaware of it until many years afterward. I used to tease him by persistently calling him "Zebra." I never knew how he really felt about that because he never showed any impatience or anger.
Marc was a good kid, and I'm sure he must have been a good man as well. As a kid he just seemed to be persistently happy, all the time, never seeming to let any troubles bother him. Marc was always upbeat, always joking, always getting people to laugh, including me. He was a good, patient friend, and I will always miss him.
Rest well, my friend. You earned it far too early.

Deepest sorrows for your loss. The world is a colder place without his kind words and warm smile that he always shared.

Marc was a great guy, he had an awesome sense of humor and was always up. i worked with him Ft Fort Wainright Four seasons, He worked hard but was always a happy guy. I had recently sent him pictures from that time. He was a great guy even though I had not talked with him from the late 80´s until 2020 I found he was the same caring, fun guy who made me laugh through tense times. I immediately learned how much he loved his family especially his sons. I am so sorry this good man has left his earthly home. Prayers for all the family. In sincere sympathy Pauline Lasister

Please accept my heartfelt sympathies on the loss of your loved one. While words cannot completely erase the sorrow felt, I hope you find comfort in knowing that under God's Kingdom on earth, aging and death will no longer happen, as imperfection and bad conditions will be things of the past. (Isaiah 65:17-25.)

Marc was a joy to be around and I always will remember being in the back office and hearing laughs and giggles coming from the front cashier desk when Marc was up there. No matter how hard his struggle was with this cancer you would of never known by his attitude and life. Big hug out to his family. May you rest in peace Marc with no more pain.

I got to know Marc the last 15 years and always had a great story or joke to tell while I was cutting his hair. His boys were the light of his life and he was so proud of them. He will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. May he walk with God.
