Nathan Field Obituary

Nathan Troy Field, 48, of Bristol, Connecticut, died May 15, 2025. Nathan was born in Little Rock, Arkansas, on Oct. 10, 1976.
Three years later he moved with his parents and brother to Fairbanks, Alaska, where he spent his school years. He graduated from Lathrop High School in 1994, and enrolled in Arizona State in Tempe, Arizona, and graduated in 1998.
After college he moved to Connecticut where he met his future bride, Kim Beecher. They married in 2005. Two children, Madison and Dylan soon followed bringing joy into their lives. Nathan worked as a financial specialist and earned his MBA from the University of Connecticut.
Nathan was very devoted to his children and loved his wife deeply. As a family, they loved to travel, enjoyed camping, and other outdoor activities. Indoors, watching movies and playing board and card games were enjoyed. His quick wit and quirky smile will always be remembered with fondness. He loved to debate and usually could out think any opponent. He had a sharp mind and was a voracious reader.
He was proud of his children's achievements and the happiest hours of the day were spent with family. His daily walks with his dog, Bo, were always a pleasure for him. On Christmas Eve, time was set aside for him to read "The Night Before Christmas" which became a family tradition. Nathan was a loving husband, devoted father to Madison and Dylan, a wonderful son to his parents, Larry and Glenda Field of Wasilla, Alaska, and a true and good friend to his brother, Derek Field, and he will be remembered fondly by his extended family and friends.
A private memorial service was held in Bristol, Connecticut, on May 20, 2025. His ashes will be spread by family members in the places that he loved.
