Sonja will be missed by all of us at the Fairbanks Genealogical Society. In the past several decades, she was a great contributor to preserving and researching family trees and Fairbanks history. Her smiling face at meetings and the Pioneer Home events will always be remembered.

Sonja was a dear friend of my parents and visited my mother regularly - sometimes on a daily basis - after my mother moved into an assisted living home a few weeks before she passed. Sonja was a kind and loving woman and a loyal friend, and I enjoyed getting to know her during my trips to Fairbanks. Deepest condolences to the family.
