Allen Kulp Obituary

Allen Crawford Kulp, 87, formerly of Rutherford Heights, PA, died peacefully at his daughter’s home in Raleigh, NC, on Easter Sunday, April 12, 2009. He was retired after 42 years of service to the Bell Telephone Company and was a 1st Lieutenant of the USA Air Corps during WWII and a 1st Lieutenant of the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War. Surviving are his sister, Kitty Janes and husband, Bill, Hershey, PA; son, James Kulp and wife, Jeannette of Sun City Center, FL; son, Kenneth Kulp and wife, Kim of Delta, PA; daughter, Judith Kochik and husband, Rich of Raleigh, NC; grandchildren, Susan Kochik, Scott Kochik, Stephen Kochik, Sean Kochik, Jenny Morrow, Andrew Kulp; and three great-grandchildren, Anderson Kochik, Megan Morrow and Kerrianne Morrow. A memorial service will be held Friday, April 17, 2009 at Christ Baptist Church, 400 Newton Road, Raleigh, NC. Burial with Military Honors will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, PA. Donations in memory of Allen can be made to Bethesda Christian Academy, 1914 S. Miami Blvd, Durham, NC 27703. W. Orville Kimmel Funeral Home, Harrisburg, PA, is handling arrangements.
