Alvin Keith Obituary

Alvin Thomas Keith, 88, of 3077 Bruce Garner Road, passed away, Tuesday morning, June 23, 2009 at Britthaven of Louisburg. He was born in Wake County, the son of the late Verena Ray Keith and William Keith. Mr. Keith served his country in the U.S. Army in World War II. Funeral service will be held at 2 o’clock Friday afternoon, June 26, 2009 at Mary’s Chapel Baptist Church with the Rev. Al Thomas officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Friends may visit with the family one hour prior to the service from 1:00-2:00 P.M. at the church. Mr. Keith is survived by his special sister-in-law, Shirley Wilkerson of Henderson; sisters-in-law & brothers-in-law, Yvonne Davis Keith, Ella Richard and husband, Lester, Patsy Douglass and husband, Milton, Sue Williams and husband, Hampton, Richard O’Neal, Freddie O’Neal and wife, Teresa, Winston O’Neal and wife, Elene and Katherine O’Neal; by several nieces and nephews including Vernon Keith, Jr. & Benny Keith and nieces, Lois Davis & Elizabeth Levenski. Mr. Keith was also preceded in death by his wife, Louise O’Neal Keith; brothers, Bryant, Herman, Vernon & Walter and a sister, Mayonnie.
