Andrew Sepelak Obituary

MAY 15, 1929 - FEBRUARY 12, 2004
At age 74, Andy passed away quietly Thursday morning after a sudden illness, with his family at his side. A Navy veteran of the Korean War, a loving father, an IBM retiree, a friend to those around him, an animal lover, a horse enthusiast, and "a stubborn old coot," who was loved by all.
Andy is survived by his children, Judy Sepelak of Apex, Laurie and Scott Wright of Indian Trail, Mike and Mary Sepelak of Cary; grandchildren, Greg and Kelly Sepelak of Raleigh; his brother, Eddie Sepelak and family of Maine, NY.
He was preceded in death by his grandson, Andy Sepelak of Cary; and brother, Frank Sepelak whose family remains in Maine, NY.
In accordance with Andy's wishes, there will be no memorial service. However, friends of Andy will gather on Saturday, February 21st, 7:00 p.m. at the Cary VFW Post located at 522 Reedy Creek Road.
In memory of Andy, contributions may be made to The Andy Sepelak Memorial Scholarship [his grandson and namesake] c/o NC State Foundation, Campus Box 7501, Raleigh, NC 27695; and/or Heads Up! Therapeutic Riding Program, Inc. 120 Possum Trail, Pittsboro, NC 27312.
