I am so sorry to hear of this...just today. Andy would be my 2nd cousin, I think. He was my Dad's cousin...my Dad was Jesse Barker - and they were quite a pair together. I hope they are celebrating together once again...I know how much they enjoyed each other's company. I have some happy childhood memories of being at Love Valley and visiting with Andy and Ellenora... I am so sorry.

To the family of Mr. Andy Barker,
We went to Love Valley a few years years ago for the first time. We met Mr. Andy and his wife, they are both great. We enjoyed going to ride the horses and meeting new people. Best of all we enjoyed talking with Mr. Andy at the Hardware store. He was a blessing to everyone. It is just and honor to have known Mr. Andy. If he had not had a dream there would not be LOVE VALLEY. We will always remember the good times when we visited him in his little TOWN of LOVE VALLEY.

Mr Barker was one of a kind. He & Ms Ellenora invited a group of 10 horse ladies from the Fort Mill area into their home for a wonderful evening of stories & laughter after meeting us at their hardware store. That was an evening we will treasure always. It was an honor to have met such a unique man with dreams. Thinking of you Ms Ellenora & the entire family. Annie Baker- Charlotte NC

Ellenora, Tonda and family.
I was very fortunate to have known Andy from the time he came to Love Valley. Having moved away from the Valley 5 years later, when I returned to visit he made me feel as though I had never left.
Sybil and my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

I am so glad Libby and I made a visit to see Andy on Sunday, July 26th. We had a great visit with him in the Hardware store and at home. Andy was my first cousin on the Barker side. Our Dad's were brothers. No matter how long we went between visits we just picked back up like we had been together every day. He will be missed.
God Bless you all.

Dear Elenora&Family,
I am so sorry to hear of Andy's passing. He was such a kind man with a loving spirit. He would always try to say things to people to make them laugh, smile or feel good. I am glad I got to see you both and speak to you last month at the July 4th Celebration. I'm sure you all will miss Andy dearly, but always remember he will live in your heart forever until you meet again. You have many years of fond memories with him, I'm sure. Love Valley is such a great place that you and he created together. I loved the time I was able to be a resident there, when I was married to Rodger. He thought alot of Andy and you. I enjoy coming back to the valley everytime I get a chance now. I will always consider it
"home." May God wrap his loving arms around you all now and comfort you and give you peace.
With Love & Sympathy,
Sharon C. Sigmon
