Joan and Family...I was so sorry to learn of the passing of Arliss. My daughter and her friend have been visiting here and although Pat Day did call me, it was too late for me to attend the Service. I'll never forget shopping in her North Hills store and still have some items I purchase there so many years ago. Arliss was truly a lovely person. Please know my thoughts and prayers are with you.

Praise the Lord for Arliss love of her parents and family. We will always remember her smile and care for the our family and especially for our Dad , her uncle John. God has certainly added a special Angel to His kingdom. May the Apostle Paul's scripture : To be absent from the body is to be with the Lord, give you comfort in our great sorrow and loss. It is with sadness and a sincere sense of loss that we note the passing of Arliss. Her life was a model of loving, supporting, nurturing and caring for her loved ones and friends.

She pursued the best life had to offer while sharing her gifts, talents and time with others, especially those in need.

She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by the entire Hamm family.

I had such a nice visit with Arliss the last time I was in Raleigh. Arliss was in my class at Hugh Morson and what a lovely friend she was! I will miss her next time I come from California to visit my family. It will not seem right to not be able to visit with her. She was loved by me and all who knew her!
