I just heard of your loss yesterday. I am so saddened to hear the news. I can remember all of the laughs that we had throughout our high school years! What a time we gave our teachers back then! I am sorry that I have been unable to keep in touch, and even more sorry to hear this awful news. My heart goes out to each and every person who ever met Ashley. She was a wonderful person with a wonderful heart! She will truly be missed. I know that she has touched many peoples lives with her free spirit and loving attitude. I will keep her in my thoughts and her family in my prayers.

Your free spirit and sheer beauty that shone from within will be missed by anyone you knew. As one of my very first friends, your kindness and fun spirit shaped the person I have become today and I am eternally grateful. As our shared birthday goes by this year, I will be celebrating and remembering your life. I know God is with you now and may your family somehow find peace by knowing God is always present.

Sue, David, and Miranda,

We are so sorry for your loss. Our family's thoughts and prayers are with you during this very difficult time.

Ashley was a very special young lady and a true joy to be around! Having the privilege of being her soccer coach for 5 years was a blessing, and we have so many memories that we will hold on to forever. She will hold a special place in our hearts and all the other people who were so lucky to have known her. I feel confident that God will take care of her and her spirit will live on for eternity.

Ashley will be deeply missed but never forgotten!

Please let us know if there is anything we can do to help.

Ashley, I reflect upon the time that our group of friends spent together in Boone, and recall what is and may always be, the greatest days of my life. Not only did you enjoy those college nights wholeheartedly, beside your loving friends, but somehow found the strength-usually through that wonderfully sympathetic laughter of yours-to nurse us back to health the morning after. Thank you so much for being you.

Dearest Sue, David, and Miranda
I cannot begin to express how much your family has meant to me over the last 24 years. During my childhood ya'll were a second family to me. I have so many cherished memories of playing at your house. From the t-ball games, basketball games, trips to the water park, dance lessons, and the long trip when Sue drove Ash and I to Michigan; I can hardly think of a childhood memory that does not include the Miller family. I am so sorry for your loss. Ashley was my first and best friend. I will forever cherish all the times we had together.
Ashley: I love you with all my heart. We had so many amazing adventures together, so many shows, and so many road trips both to Boone and Greenville to continue our childhood friendship. Perhaps my fondest memory is this past summer when you, Jamie, and Bailey came to visit me at the beach. What a wonderful week. I am not saying goodbye to you because you will live on, live on in me, and in your parents and sis, and in the lives of the many people who were blessed enough to know you. Your contagious smile and laughter brightened everyone's days. Even when we were far apart, you always made sure to call me to check on me and keep in touch. I will miss you dearly and am waiting till the time I see you again. Thank you so much for your friendship, love, kindness, and your never ending loyalty. I am a better person for knowing you, and the world is a better place because you were in it.
"Fare the well, Fare the well, I love you more than words can tell"

Miller family:
I recently lost my daughter unexpectedly. I know the pain you are feeling. You will be in my prayers for God to wrap his arms around you and comfort you at this time. My little angel had just turned 21 on April 4, and on April 7 she was gone.

Don't forget to breathe, eat, and sleep as hard as it is to do those simple things. Another mother, who lost a 16 year old several years ago, told me "life will get good again; it will just be different". Two weeks out, I still need the Lord to hold me up. Think often on the great memories you made together, her love of life, and the joy she brought to others. It really does help.

God's peace be with you.
