Pittsboro, North Carolina - Barry Tenser, 93, long time resident of Fearrington Village, Pittsboro, NC passed away quietly on Wednesday, June 18, 2025. A 1954 BBA graduate of Hofstra College, Barry spent his career as Director of Purchasing for several NYC department stores. In retirement he could be frequently spotted biking on the American Tobacco Trail or reading over the radio to the sight-impaired at North Carolina Reading Service. He leaves behind his wife of 68 years Lora (Lori), daughter Ilene (Gary Bowers), son Gregg (Christine McCracken), and grandchildren Jason, Andrew (AJ) and Addison.
