Bessie Spence Obituary
Surviving: sons, Glenn Spence and Dwight Spence, both of Fuquay-Varina; daughters, Lois Wood, Shirley Anderson and husband Rees,and Pat Dean, all of Fuquay-Varina, Judy Avent and husband James of Holly Springs; 14 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; brother, Carley Smith of Emerald Isle; sisters, Bertha Rogers and Hersey Hester, both of Fuquay-Varina; special friend, Robbie Dean of Fuquay-Varina.
Mrs. Spence was preceded in death by her husband, Avery Spence, and a son, Allen Spence.
The family will receive friends 7 to 9 p.m. today at Sugg Funeral Home, and other times at the Spence Home, 244 Avery Spence Road, Fuquay-Varina.
