Raleigh, North Carolina - Mrs. Betty B. Haskins, age 80, of Raleigh passed away peacefully after a long battle with illness. She was born in Franklin County on September 18, 1942 to Naman and Rebecca (Andrews) Barham. Educated in the Wake County schools, she had spent her career as the Nutritional Director for Millbrook Junior and Elementary school, Durant road schools for many years.
She loved going to the mountains and the beach in her free time along with her love for her two labs Barney and Jake.
She's survived by her husband of 62 years, Walter Haskins of Raleigh; daughter, Angela Haskins of Raleigh.
The family will welcome family and friends at the Bright Funeral Home on Tuesday, June 27, 2023 from 7 to 9 PM. A Celebration of her Life will be held at Bay leaf Baptist Church on Wednesday June 28, 2023 at 11 AM followed by Burial in Bay leaf Church Cemetery.
