Brian Thomas Obituary

Brian David Thomas, a loving husband, father, and son, 33, died April 20, 2010 in Suffolk.
Brian was born in Reno, NV and served in the United States Army for 5 years, Army Reserves for 3 years, and for the last 9 years Brian was a Virginia State Trooper.
He is survived by his loving wife, Christina D. Thomas; son, Donovan P. Thomas; daughters, MacKenzie J. Engel, and Madison E. Thomas; parents, Phillip & Elizabeth Thomas; sister, Stacy Sinkoski and husband Michael; aunts, Mary Grubs, and Ida Cole; father & mother-in-law, Vern T. and Pamela D. DuBois. Sr. ; sister-in-law, Catherine Durand and husband Ruben; brother-in-laws, Vern T. DuBois, Jr. , Thomas A. DuBois, Richard E. Adams, Timothy D. DuBois; and a host of nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be conducted on Monday, April 26, 2010 at the R. W. Baker & Co. Funeral Home & Crematory, 509 W. Washington St., Suffolk, VA, 23434 at 11:00 a.m. by the Rev. Allen Lancaster with burial at Albert G. Horton, Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery, 5310 Milners Road, Suffolk, VA, 23434.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, April 25, 2010 from 4 to 6:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Suffolk Police Officers Association, Local 780, P.O. Box 3369, Suffolk, VA, 23439.
