Candace Elaine Renfrow, 48, went to be with her Heavenly Father on August 12, 2015.
Candi was born on April 20, 1967. Her passion for Cultural Arts led to her success in the world of dance. She was the owner and operator of "Dance By Candi", of Fuquay-Varina for many years. She was an accomplished gymnast, college cheerleader, and won many awards and titles, but her most cherished award was "Mom".
She loved spending time with her son, Trent, which was her greatest joy. In her leisure time, she was an avid reader, gardener and a gourmet cook.
God's purpose for Candi was to teach and love children with a generous heart.
Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of Parrish Funeral Home with the Rev. Lee Colbert officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:00 – 3:00 p.m. just prior to the service. Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery.
Surviving are her beloved son, Trenton Edward Lupton; mom and dad, Edward and Becky Renfrow of Davis, NC; a dear sister and brother-in-law, Paige and Craig Crowther of Raleigh and a niece and nephew, Clint and Ellie Crowther of Raleigh.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be sent to the Children's Home Society of NC, P. O. Box 14608, Greensboro, NC 27415.

Candi touched so many people and always smiling. She and I doing back bends during break time in middle school is a childhood memory for me. I was thrilled when she moved back to Johnston County in 2010 as we regained the friendship as I had missed her so much, and picked up like only a few days had passed. My prayers are to lift your families' spirits and know she always loved her family, and her son so very much.

I remember being there with you when Candi won Miss Erwin-Denim pageant and at the Miss NC Pageant and I never hear "God Bless The USA" without thinking of her. Even though we've lost contact over the years, I've still thought of each of you with loving thoughts. Mrs.Candi was a wonderful dance teacher and when I was younger taught me a lot before she moved to FV. The whole family is in my thoughts and prayers as losing a mother and a daughter is never easy. Ms. Candi touched the soul of our family. Being our daughter's first dance teacher when we moved here in 1990, Candi quickly became a cherished member of our family. Her love, dedication to her students, skills and passion all made her the great person she was for many. When our final breathe is taken I believe we have completed God's will for our life here on earth. Candi was a loving and devoted Mom, a dear and precious daughter and a sister who was so dear to Paige and her family.
