Cecil Johnson Obituary

Mr. Cecil S. Johnson, 58, of Fuquay-Varina, died Saturday, August 7, 2010 at UNC Memorial Hospital in Chapel Hill.
Cecil was a master carpenter by trade and took great pride in his work. He was also an active member of Freedom Biker Church and was a Christian example to all people.
The funeral service will take place at 2:30 p.m., Tuesday August 10th at Freedom Biker Church, Angier. Rev. Rusty Rawls and Rev. Perry Cotton will officiate. The burial will follow at Baptist Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, Fuquay-Varina.
The family will receive friends at Freedom Biker Church from 1:00—2:30 p.m., prior to the service, other times at his home.
Survivors include his wife Annette McKinney Johnson of the home; son Scotty Johnson of the home; his parents Edward and Joyce Holland Johnson Fuquay-Varina; and sister Rebecca J. Matthews and husband Halford of Fuquay-Varina.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Freedom Biker Church, 275 A Bowling Springs Drive, Angier, NC 27501.

Annette and Family,

Annette my heart goes you to and your family. I am so very thankful to have known and called Cecil my friend.Cecil and Steve were so much more than just friends.Cecil made others stronger in so many ways. On many visits Cecil said how strong you were. Now I know how true of a statement that was .We will greatly miss our friend in shorts. With love and a broken heart .
