Charles Tillman Obituary

Charles Brantley Tillman, 82, of Bonlee, passed away Saturday, Jan. 13, 2007.
The funeral service will take place at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 16, 2007, at Bonlee Baptist Church with Rev. Darrell Williams officiating. The burial will follow at Hope Cemetery with Military Rites by Randolph Honor Guard.
Mr. Tillman, a native of Moore County, was also a member of Bonlee Baptist Church as well as a Marine veteran of WW II.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruby Fields Tillman.
He leaves to cherish his memory, five daughters, Charlene T. Binkley and husband, Johnny of Raleigh, NC, Iris T. Terry and husband, Hobert of Siler City, NC, Adene T. Meece of Fuquay-Varina, NC, Ruby T. Edwards and husband, Clyde of Siler City, and Tammy T. Hanson and husband, Steve of Bonlee; one son, Charles "Mike" Tillman of Bonlee; two brothers June Tillman and Mack Hancock, both of Siler City; one sister, Mary Joyce T. Russavage of Tunkhannock, PA; sister-in-law, Carlyle Gaines of Bonlee; nine grandchildren; and eight great- grandchildren.
The visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Jan. 15, 2007, at Smith and Buckner Funeral Home, 230 North Second Avenue, Siler City.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of UNC, P.O. Box 1077, Pittsboro, NC 27312.
