Fuquay-Varina, North Carolina - Charlotte Ann Davis was born on March 27, 1927, in Oak Hill, Ohio. She was the daughter of EE Davis and Imogene Davis. She grew up in Oak Hill and resided in Jackson, Ohio for many years.
Charlotte was preceded in death by loving husband, Paul Richard Specht in 1987.
She is survived by three children, Jane Ann Specht, Richard Davis Specht, and Timothy Edward Specht. Also surviving are grandchildren, Paul Andrew Specht, Allison Costa, Timothy Matthew Specht and Samuel Reeves Specht; 3 Great Grandchildren, Theo Fritz Specht, Clara Rose Specht, and Ella Costa. Also survived by Elizabeth Davis (Sister-in-Law), Evan John Davis, Timothy Davis, and Bette and beloved care giver, Fran Meier.
She was a member of the Fuquay Varina Presbyterian Church, a lifetime Presbyterian who was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
She was an avid quilter, quilt show judge who started two Quilt Guilds, including the one here in Fuquay Varina that now numbers over 250 members. Also, she had a great love of flowers. For many years she belonged to the Camelia Club in Tyler, Texas where she frequently entered and won prizes for her camellias.
Growing up in a Welsh community, she loved and valued her Welsh Heritage and attended church with her family at the Welsh churches around her surrounding community. Her family was always her first concern as well as the welfare of others. She never lost her love or interest for the Ohio State Buckeyes or the game of basketball. She was a Joe Burrow fan.
A Celebration of Life service will be at 11:00 am on Tuesday December 17, 2024, at Fuquay Varina Presbyterian Church, 308 North Ennis, Fuquay-Varina.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the United Fund of Jackson County to the attention of: Joe Wyatt, 262 Pleasant Grove Road, Jackson, Ohio 45640.
