Curtis Hines Obituary
Four Oaks
Mr. Curtis Cadle Hines, Sr., age 78 of 1507 Strickland's Crossroads Road died Monday at his residence. Funeral Service will be held 1:00PM Wednesday at Asbury United Methodist Church, Smithfield. Officiating will be Revs. Richard Hill and Bobby Smith. Burial will follow in the Four Oaks City Cemetery.
Mr. Hines was born November 20, 1936 in Johnston County to the late Herbert Milton and Pearl Creech Hines. He was preceded in death by sisters, Josephine Wood, Ruth Sullivan, Christine Ingram; brothers, Ben Hines, Clawson Hines and Billy Hines. Mr. Hines owned Hines Heating and Air Conditioning for 45 years. He was a member of Asbury United Methodist Church and a US Army veteran.
Surviving include his wife of 55 years, Fay Pierce Hines; Sons and Daughters-In-Law, Curtis Cadle Hines, Jr. and wife, Sara of Stokesdale, NC, Jeff Hines and wife, Henrietta of Benson, Mike Hines and wife LaDonna of Four Oaks and Greg Hines of Four Oaks; Six Grandchildren, J.K. Hines, Savannah Hines, Zachary Hines, LeeAnna Hines, Carter Hines and Max Hines; Brother, H. M. Hines of Cary; Several Nieces and Nephews.
Family will receive friends at Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Four Oaks from 6:00PM to 8:00PM Tuesday.
Flowers are welcomed; however, memorials may be made to Asbury United Methodist Church Memorial Fund, 215 East Caroline Ave. Smithfield, NC 27577 or to the Tammy Lynn Center 739 Chappell Drive Raleigh, NC 27606, or www. tammylynncenter.org.
