Khaled from Bangladesh sent condolences I have not seen post. In the early days of Covid, I suggested he send some research on supply chains to Dale, who helped him refine it for publication. Khaled is London School of Economics through the extension program.

I was introduced to Mr. Hoover around 2011 thru my significant other John Owen. John and Dale had been friends for many years. I found Mr. Hoover to be a very kind, caring, gentlemen who thought a lot of his family. I enjoyed the few conversations we had when John and I visited Dale at his home in Raleigh. I feel Dale is at peace and thankful he did not linger. Sincere condolences to all of Dales family and friends. A good soul. He will be greatly missed.

I met Dale at Raleigh Friends and always enjoyed his sweet, calm manner and occasional insights shared during meeting for worship. A lovely man, he will be much missed.

Dale was my oldest friend and his son Reid was a friend. We talked about those teenage years some and his childhood as well not many months ago. I last talked to him when he was in a near coma the day before he died much as we usually would and have no doubt he listened. I know his influence continues and I would not say he is gone, only that he can't talk back anymore.
