Janet,

Shelley and I happened to be in Washington, D.C. on the day of the plane crash, but had no idea about Dave until receiving Bob Curley's e-mail this morning. Dave meant a lot in my life, though I had lost touch after your most recent relocation. This news represents a light going out in the world. SINCERE condolences to you and your family.
