David Jezik Obituary

David J. Jezik
November 4, 1968 - July 26, 2021
Garner, North Carolina - "First the man takes a drink. Then the drink takes a drink. Then the drink takes the man." This Japanese proverb warned of the dangers of drinking too much sake.
A caring and compassionate man who knew the Lord as his personal savior but had an alcohol problem that he could not overcome.
He was born in Allegheny Valley Hospital, Natrona Heights, PA.
He leaves behind his parents, John and Donna along with two sisters Pam Jezik in NC and Lori Jezik in NJ. Two nieces Melanie Sferlazza (Sal) Julianna Mike-Mayer and a nephew Peter Mike Mayer and Milo Sferlazza his great nephew. Along with his many longtime close friends from over the years in NC and SC.
In lieu of flowers please consider a donation in his honor to Transitions LifeCare 250 Hospice Circle, Raleigh, NC 27607. Their 24/7 support made a difficult time a little less stressful. A special appreciation to his "significant other" Maureen who never left his side during his last months.
Arrangements entrusted to the Cremation Society of the Carolinas.
