I'll never forget some of the fun and funny times that David and I shared when we both worked at the SPCA. David had a big heart and a great sense of humor. RIP David!

David, (HoneyBunny) You will always hold a special place in my heart. Thank you for taking the time to teach me all you know about animals, and for all the beautiful times we spent star gazing. You will be greatly missed.
Loving you always.

Dear Ms. Poole,
We are so sorry for the loss of your beloved son David. There are no words that can adequately express what a profound loss it is to lose a child. We want you to know that we too have suffered this devastating loss. We belong to a volunteer support group that is comprised solely of bereaved parents and want to reach out to you. We meet twice a month in Raleigh to share and give support. There are no dues or fees. If you would like to find out more about our group, please call us at 833-4022. There is always a bereaved parent on call to talk with you. We are part of the world wide organization The Compassionate Friends which you can access online, and our chapter has a website under NC in the Chapter Locator section. Please know that you and your family are in our thoughts and prayers at this most difficult and sad time.
With love and concern,
The Compassionate Friends of Wake County
