Donald Glen Menting

Wendell

Donald Glen Menting, 64, passed away Thursday, October 13, 2016. He was born December 18, 1951 in Wabasha, MN to the late Leonard Menting and Vivian Seifert. Don honorably served his country in the US Navy.

Surviving: daughter, Jill Blair (Steven); son, Kevin O'Keefe; 8 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; 7 loving siblings and his wonderful collie, Jake.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Sharon Menting and brothers: Jack and Merle Menting.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Transitions LifeCare, 250 Hospice Circle, Raleigh, NC 27607.

Don's wishes were to be cremated and taken to the beach to be scattered with his beloved wife.

Anyone wishing to visit with the family may go by the home of Jill and Steven Blair, 516 Keith Street, Knightdale.
