So sorry to hear about Doris. She was an excellent high school classmate at Boyden High in Salisbury. We graduated in 1956 and it was always good to see her at the reuinions.

I first knew Doris as that nice lady at the convenience store I usually went to in Chapel Hill. Over time I got to know her, and she asked me if I knew of any jobs where she might not have to stand up all day. She started working at FGI with me soon after that, and we enjoyed many years of Doris's hard work and excellent company. She was not just well liked at FGI, but loved, for her dry wit and her kind heart.
