Mrs. Vello was my 2nd grade teacher who made a huge difference in my life and many other childrens' lives. She made me a better student and truly made me a better person. It is unfortunate that she passed away before she got to find out I graduated 5th grade and wouldn't have been able to do it without her. Every time I see a butterfly, I will think of what a great person she was. My prayers are with the family.

My thoughts and prayers are with the family as you mourn the loss of your wife, mother, grandmother and friend.
I know she was a very special woman from the brief time I spent with her as we walked and talked on Neodak Road. I greatly admire her strength and faith as her trust in God and your love guided her through the past few years.
