Ella Grace Cecil

Ella Grace Cecil, 12, went to Heaven on March 13, 2026. She was born in Durham, the daughter of Kimberly Parham Cecil and fiancé, Brian Harvey and Howard Bentley Cecil III. In addition to her parents, Ella is also survived by her sister, Ava Paige Cecil and fiancé, Hudson Faulkner; bonus sisters, Oliva Alaina and Corinne Harvey; grandparents, Evelyn and Benny Cecil, Linda and Kenneth Parham; and also many beloved uncles, aunts, cousins, friends and teammates.

Ella was a six grade student at Salem Middle School in Apex, where she also served as manager for the Salem Spartans Softball Team. She had a deep love for music, animals and makeup. She also enjoyed coloring, making slime, and CapCuts. Ella especially loved spending time with her beloved pets, cats, Coco and Callie; and dogs, Oreo and Mito.

Ella's joyful spirit could be seen in the simple things she loved the most: shipping trips with her mom and grandma to Target and South Pointe mall, visits to Starbucks and Panda express- her two favorite restaurants; and riding around Efland to Randy's Supermarket for her favorite SpongeBob SquarePants popsicle. She loved driving anything she could, especially her 4-wheeler and go cart.

She was an enthusiastic NC State fan and loved cheering them on during games. Ella was also a huge Carolina Hurricanes fan and knew lots about hockey. Her happy place was anywhere she could camp with her grandma and grandpa in the camper or swimming with her granddaddy, above all Ella loved spending time with her family and friends.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm on Monday, March 16th at Crosslink Community Church. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, March 17th at Crosslink Community Church.
