Passed away peacefully with his family at his side. He is the son of the late Gordon and Gladys Trimble. He was born inCanada and moved to Raleigh to raise his two sons. His entire professional career was spent with Nortell Communications He is survived by his sons, Jason and Scott and their wives Sabrina and Janeane. He is also survived by two beautiful grandchildren, Austin and Jewel. Donations can be made in his honor to the American Cancer Society . PO Box 22478 City, OK 73123 or to Chatham Animal Rescue and Education, PO Box 610 Pittsboro, NC .

Doug was a brilliant visionary. A dedicated,driven and compassionate leader. My years working with him were memorable. I will miss him mostly though as a mentor and a friend.
