Dylan Drayton Obituary
August 9, 1991 – July 9, 2015
Clayton
Dylan Lee Drayton, 23, passed away in an accident Thursday and went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He was the son of Dee-Dee and Tommy Wolfe and Alfred Lee Drayton, Jr. He was preceded in death by his Uncle Andy Anderson and Memaw Lillie Ruth Drayton.
Funeral services will be Tuesday at 11 AM at Aversboro Road Baptist Church, Garner with burial to follow at Pinecrest Memorial Gardens, Clayton.
In addition to his parents he is survived by sisters, Taylor Drayton and Taylor Wolfe of the home, Grandparents Jerry and Rita Anderson, Alfred Lee Drayton, Sr.
Dylan graduated December 2014 from UNC-Charlotte with a major in Criminal Justice and a Minor in History. Dylan played baseball for most of his life and was noted for his swift double plays. He encouraged people with his presence and radiant smile.
The family will receive friends Monday 6-8 PM at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Garner.

Tim and I just saw the article in the News and Observer about the scholarship that will be started in Dylan's name. This was our first knowledge of Dylan's passing. Although we knew him but a short time when our son played with him on the South Raleigh travel team, we still remember what a fine and talented young man he was with a loving Christian family surrounding him. Our thoughts and prayers are with Jerry, Rita, and all of Dylan's family. We thank God for your spirit, Dylan, which enriched so many lives while you were here with us.

Dee Dee you all are in our prayers. Our hearts are broken. Dylan will always be remembered as a sweet, handsome and caring young man. The world will miss him.
