Eileen Herbermann

1921 - 2026

Eileen D. Herbermann, June 1, 1921-January 21, 2026. Eileen passed away peacefully with her niece, Eileen White, by her side on January 21 at the age of 104. Eileen was born in the Bronx, NY, to Thomas and Katherine Dorgan.

She graduated from Hunter College in New York. She was a member of Alpha Gamma Delta sorority. Eileen worked at Westchester Federal Savings Bank as Director of Personnel.



She lived in the New York area before moving to Springmoor Retirement Community in 1998 with her husband, Charles.

Eileen enjoyed entertaining. She was remembered for her St. Patrick's Day parties on the 4th floor of Creedmoor at Springmoor, where she introduced many to Irish coffee. She had many adventures traveling with her husband and her sisters.

Eileen loved the ARTS, often visiting museums, attending the symphony, ballet, and the theater. She received an iPad for her 100th birthday and regularly checked her email and played many games. Spending time with family brought her much joy.



Eileen is predeceased by her loving husband, Charles G. Herbermann, sisters Agnes Fallath and Magdalene O'Brien, nephew James McArdle, and niece Suzanne Tuck.



She is survived by her sister, Katheryn Daughton, nieces and nephews Thomas Fallath (Susan Erath), Gregory Fallath (Bonnie), Eileen White (Jim), Stephen Daughton (Jaqueline), Sharon Rothweiler (William), Sheila Rosner (Michael), MaryLouise Mullervy (Terrance), Mary Lou McArdle, Martin Tuck, and many great nieces and nephews.

A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, March 6, at 11:00 at St. Raphael Catholic Church in Raleigh, NC.
