Edward Wasdell Obituary
A graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Mr. Wasdell taught automotive technology for nineteen years at Garner Senior High School. He participated in school leadership activities and was particularly proud of the school's success in the Electric Vehicle Challenge. He touched many lives as a teacher.
He enjoyed everything about the outdoors, especially fishing with friends.
He is survived by his wife, Anna Wasdell; son, Edward S. Wasdell III; mother, Joyce F. Wasdell of Durham; sister and brother-in-law, Diann and Rand Irwin; stepbrothers; in-laws, nieces; nephews; aunt, uncle and cousins.
A Memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. Wednesday, April 4, 2001 at the Prince of Peace Episcopal Church at the intersection of Highway 55 and Highway 64 in Apex.
Family will receive friends immediately following the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Garner Senior High School, 2101 Spring Drive, Garner, NC 27529, to support a scholarship or to the charity of your choice.
