Dear Jeff and Holly, Heidi and Heather and your wonderful families,
Liz was so special to all who passed her way! I had the pleasure of working in the classroom with her for near 15 years, and it was magical, we always picked right up where the other left off. Her mild manner and spark for learning never faded, only ignited interest for all. We became good friends as well and shared family concerns and pride! She always said " you got to do the right thing and enjoy life, 'cause you just never know..." She will be missed deeply, and I'll always keep her in my heart and memories. I feel so fortunate to have known her.
Love to all, Robin

Dear Jeff and family,
We are so very sorry for your
loss. We are a new family at MDS. (and recently learned that the school started in your basement - wow!)
Our five year old son Henry was in Liz's class. He has shared so many great "Miss Liz" stories - "Remember when I visited the school and met Miss Liz and she said my brain was really working!"
He never stopped asking about her. When we shared the sad news, Henry told us he was both sad - and mad - as he had really wanted to see her. Later in the day, he remembered that he had made her paper snowflakes when she was sick and he told us, "Miss Liz knew those were from me and that was like seeing her". Then he smiled and asked if Miss Liz could see him from heaven - and we said of course - better keep that brain working! Henry misses her dearly, we all do. Lots of beautiful flowers are starting to bloom near her classroom.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you all,
Helen, John, Sophie & Henry Nicholls

Holly, Heidi, Heather and Mr. Mallett,
I am so sorry for your loss. I have lovely memories of coming down the street to play with Holly and Mrs. Mallett's kindness and wonderful smile. She was a wonderful mother, friend and neighbor. My thoughts are with you all. -Becky Moorhead McGrath
