Elizabeth Talley Obituary

Elizabeth Rogers Talley, 42, of Raleigh, NC, passed away peacefully in her sleep on September 21, 2025, at Duke Regional Hospital Hospice after a period of declining health.

Born on March 21, 1983, in Raleigh, Elizabeth-known to many as Liz-was a proud native of the city and a graduate of the Wake County Public School System. She went on to earn a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Management from Mount Olive University.

Liz built a respected career in sales at the Renaissance Raleigh Hotel, where her dedication and strong work ethic earned the admiration of her colleagues and peers. Her professional accomplishments were matched by the warmth and loyalty she brought to those around her.

She is lovingly remembered by her father, Michael W. Talley of Raleigh; her uncle, Daniel A. Rogers of Evanston, IL; as well as several cousins, nephews, and a niece. Liz was preceded in death by her mother, Betsy Rogers Talley; her aunts, Joyce Talley Wilson and Shirley Talley Edwards; and her uncle, William F. Rogers.

A Celebration of Life will be held by friends later in October to honor Liz's memory. City of Oaks Cremation is serving the family.

May her memory bring comfort to all who knew her.
