Eunice Bizzell Huettner
Chapel Hill
Eunice Bizzell Huettner, widow of Richard A. Huettner, Madison, NJ died on August 23rd, 2011 in Chapel Hill, NC. She was a resident at The Cedars in Chapel Hill.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Dr. and Mrs. Marcus Edward Bizzell of Goldsboro, NC, and a brother, Marcus Edward Bizzell, Jr.
She is survived by her daughter Elizabeth Barnes Dowd Turner of Lynchburg., VA and her two children, Robert Wynne Turner, Jr. and Anne Porter Turner and her son, Marcus Bizzell Dowd of Claremont, CA and his wife, Elin Rice Dowd and their two children, Jonah Beach Dowd and Emma Mariah Dowd. She is also survived by her sister, Mary Louise Burress of Winston Salem, NC.
Eunice Huettner lived for many years in Madison, NJ before moving to The Cedars in Chapel Hill in 2006. Her life was enriched by many friends and much enjoyment. Every kindness extended to her throughout her life and illness was greatly appreciated by Eunie and her family.
A memorial service will be held at St, Marys Chapel, on St. Mary's campus in Raleigh, NC. The service will be at 11:00am on Monday August 29th with a reception following in Smedes Parlor. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Hospice of the Carolinas, Merrie Woode Foundation 100 Merrie Woode Rd., Sapphire, NC 28744 or to Grace Memorial Church 4 Madison Ave/, Madison, NJ 07949.

We have such fond memories of Eunice, and will miss her smile, her sense of humor, and her fun laugh. She was such an important member of the Garden Club of Madison.
