Evelyn Marr Obituary
Survivors include her daughter, Carol Marr Meszaros and husband Michael of Raleigh; son, Walter Eugene Marr III of Garner; grandchildren, Michael Meszaros, Jr. and Paige Meszaros; great granddaughter, Kylie Meszaros; sisters, Wilene Maness and Geneva Hepp, and brother, Will Laney, Jr. She was preceded in death by her husband and daughter Jean Laney Bailey.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, May 7, 2010 at 2 PM at Montlawn Memorial Park, 2911 South Wilmington Street, Raleigh. Friends may visit and view from 9 am until 12 noon at Brown Wynne Funeral Home, 300 St. Mary’s Street prior to the graveside service.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Evelyn’s memory can be made to Hospice of Wake County, 250 Hospice Circle, Raleigh, NC, 27607, or SPCA of Wake County, 200 Petfinder Lane, Raleigh, NC 27603.

Buddy,
This is Blair Wall Smallman and Melissa Little. We saw your mother's obituary in the paper and wanted to tell you how sorry we are to hear of her passing. Also, a few months ago we saw the passing of Derek and were sorry to read about his young death. We are both fine, busy, Can not believe 33 years ago we were all "hanging" out....Melissa is a grandmother of a 3 year old...single
and a lawyer....I am the mother of a 15 1/2 year old daughter and help my husband in his company.
Steve and I married 20 years ago this October (Bruce and I divorced in 87)...my folks require 24 hour care at 90 and 88...time goes fast..we hope you are well!

I remember Mrs. Marr so well and so fondly. She cut my mother's hair and my hair for the years we lived in Garner. Please know you are in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. May God comfort and sustain you as you grieve over the loss of your loved one.
