Evelyn Peebles Obituary

Evelyn Rae Harris Peebles, 81, of 1000 Windward Passage, died Sunday, January 14, 2007 at her home. Evelyn was born in Wake County on August 5, 1925 to the late William R. Harris and Adelaide Lancaster Harris.
Graveside service 11 Wednesday, January 17, 2007 at Oakwood Cemetery, 701 Oakwood Avenue, Raleigh, NC 27604.
The family will receive relatives and friends at the cemetery immediately following the service.
Surviving: children, Ann P. Tippett and her husband, Glenn of Four Oaks, Kenneth Peebles and his wife, Mary Ann of Knightdale, Kay Peebles of Raleigh, Lynn Peebles and his wife, Renee of Zebulon; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Evelyn was preceded in death by her husband, Julius Peebles.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Wake County, 1300 St. Mary's Street, Fourth Floor, Raleigh, NC 27605.
Arrangements by L. Harold Poole Funeral Service & Crematory, 944 Old Knight Road, Knightdale, NC 27545.
