My sincerest heartfelt sympathies go to the Bunn Family. "Gerri" was such an inspiration to all who came to know her, both personally & professionally. I was fortunate enough to be both her friend & her co-worker. She hired me at Social Services; and if it had not been for her sincerety & magnetic personality, I probably would not have accepted the job. "Gerri" always showed an intense interest in friends, family, & business associates. She was always willing to listen & to help. Anyone could trust her to the max. I have never known a sweeter or dearer person. Although "Gerri" had been retired from DSS for seventeen years, I always kept in touch with her. We would chit chat about incidences in the past and catch up on family changes - new grandbaby or what the children were doing. She truly loved her family & friends & she will be truly missed. I owe "Gerri" much grattitude & appreciation because without her expertise and guidance, I am sure I could not have lasted 30+ years on my job. She will always be remembered as a great supervisor and a most treasured friend. Again, my utmost sympathies go to her family. She may be gone, but she will never be forgotten. She was truly a God-given gift here on earth & I'm sure she is an angel in heaven above. Love & prayers be with you all. I would not have been able to
