Glenn Lantz Obituary

Glenn Roy Lantz, Jr., 79, of 70 Buckingham Court, died Saturday, April 2, 2005 at Duke Health Raleigh Hospital.
He was born in Sussex County, NJ and was the son of the late Ina Drew Lantz and Glenn R. Lantz, Sr. Mr. Lantz attended Newton High School in Newton, NJ and was a proud veteran of the US Navy serving in both WWII and in Korea. He was in the first wave to invade Omaha Beach and was a member of American Legion Post 187 in Wake Forest. For 40 years he worked with Selective Insurance Company of America, first as an underwriter and later as Purchasing Officer before his retirement.
He is survived by his wife, Janet L. Lantz; daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Harry Buckner of Franklinton;granddaughter, Jennifer Buckner of Franklinton; sister, Julia Roe of Branchville, NJ; brothers, Darryl Lantz and Jimmy Lantz both of Newton, NJ.
Friends may visit with the family from 7-8:30 Wednesday evening, April 6, 2005 at Bright Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 405 S. Main St., Wake Forest, 27587. (919-556-5811)
