Elizabeth and family,
I just learned of Langill's passing. He was a special person and we loved him dearly when he served at First UMC in Rocky Mount. He was such a gracious and helpful friend when our daughter was married there. I will treasure my memories of him as I know you will yours and they will give you comfort and sustain you at this time. We know that he is in a better place and waiting for us. Our sincerely sympathy on your loss.

Elizabeth and Family,
Graham was a long time ago for you and
family. We were blessed to have you at
FUMC even for a short time. Our sympathy goes out to all of you.

How well we remember when you served in Graham, we were serving Mt Hermon
and we'd get together as often as possible to play cards. Usually, though, we just talked and laughed for a couple of hours. What fun!

We extend our heartfelt sympathy to Elizabeth and the family. We shall never forget how warmly you and Langill embraced us as our superintendent as we began our service in the NC Conference. You hold a special place in our hearts. God bless you in your loss.

Glenda and I were really saddened to learn of Langill's passing. He was such a special person. He and his family, and Glenda and I all came to Chapel Hill in 1966. I was reared as a Baptist but became a "Langill Watson Methodist" after hearing him preach at University United Methodist Church shortly after moving to Chapel Hill. He will be greatly missed by many. It was an honor to have known he and Elizabeth.
