October 23. 1958 – August 6, 2016

SUNSET BEACH

Janet (Jan) Lee Cox, 57, went to her heavenly home on Saturday, following a courageous battle with cancer. She was the daughter of the late Leroy King and Ethel Thomas.

She is now with the Lord and her loved ones who preceded her. Jan was loved dearly by her family and friends, will be truly missed and will be in our hearts forever.

Funeral services will be 5:00 PM Thursday, August 11th at Bryan-Lee Funeral Chapel, Garner.

She is survived by husband, Kenneth W. Cox after 25 years of marriage; step daughter, Hannah Cox-Greene; step grandchildren, Haley, Maria and Annalise; step mother, Carra Lee King; half- brothers, Wayne King and Bennie Thomas and half-sisters, Donna Long, Dale Atkins and Kim Thomas.

Contributions may be made to Coastal Cancer Center, 8121 Rourk Street, Myrtle Beach, SC 29572-4128.
