To The Dellaero Family, My sincere condolences. Your mother was one of the warmest, kindest people I have ever known. Her smile was so contagious that you couldn't help but smile back while in a conversation with her. I see those qualities passed on in each of her children and grandchildren as well. It brought me great joy to see my sister enter a family with such a loving mother.

Tom & Family:
Of all the folks who have expressed their thoughts in this Guest Book I can say that I had know Janice longer than any. We first met in 1953 at Ewing High School. From the get go we became good friend and enjoyed socially all the things young folks did back in the 50's. We double dated on occasion but never dated each other, and that was why our friendship was so strong. I always enjoyed seeing both of you at the many Ewing High School Class of 59 reunions. In recent years we reconnected on a more regular basis through Facebook. Janice was always a most kind and considerate person who truly gave of herself. During the 4 years that my late wife, Anita, battled and fought the fight with those cancer demons. Janice would send upbeat messages. I so regret that I was not able to take her up on the offer for us to get together in Florida. I knew she was ill but had no idea as to the severity. I know how hard it is for you, Tom, at this time. You do the best you can and be positive. And when people ask, How are you doing? Just smile and say fine. One final thing, Tom. Know it's ok to cry. Although it does get better over time you will never forget. You had a queen in your presence all those years but I know you already knew that.

I am blessed to have been friends with Janice for so many years. Neither distance nor time dulled the pleasure that we shared when we were able on rare occasions to be physically reunited. There was a sense that we shared so much of our lives although we shared so few moments. Janice was always a beautiful presence, reminding me of the good in this world. Memories of her will always enrich my days and in the evening she will be the brightest star in the heavens.

Tom,I consider it a blessing to have known and been able to associate with Janice. Although I only knew her for a few years compared to the sixty plus years that you and I have known each other, it seems that it was a lot longer. Condolences from all of our family to you and all of your loved ones.

Tenderly may time heal your sorrow,
Gently may friends ease your pain,

I was saddened to hear this morning that Janice passed away. I had just gotten her Christmas card in the mail this past week with a beautiful family picture and a photo of the grandchildren now grown up. I remember how many times Janice and I would talk about family, hers and mine, when I would take my students in for their reading period in the library at Meadow School in Baldwin. Not only was she a colleague she was a friend who was beautiful inside and out. No one was kinder than Janice. Outside of school we shared a special friend, Ricky Marconi. I will always
remember the Christmases we shared visiting at Rick's house. Janice is now a special angel adding light and warmth to heaven. She is in the hearts and souls of so many who knew and loved her; especially her family. To Janice her family was everything. My condolences to Tom, your children and grandchildren. With heartfelt sympathy, Carol Vineberg

I will miss my neighbor Janice so muchsuch a smart and lovely lady with a competitive spirit. She was always a lot of fun at our weekly MahJong games and monthly lunches. Even though she had health issues, she never complained and was a Bright spirit.
